We are located at 301 Live Oak St, Suite 1, Glen Rose, TX 76043 at the corner of Live Oak St and Mesquite St just off North East Big Bend Trail (US Highway 67). If you are coming from the East on U.S. Highway 67 heading Westbound from Dallas, as you arrive into the city limits Glen Rose, about one mile into town, you will see the white and blue First Financial Bank lighted sign on your left hand side. Directly after that sign for the bank, you will want to turn left onto Live Oak Street. Once you turn left onto Live Oak Street, the first building on your immediate right is the Testing Center.
If you are coming from the West on U.S. Highway 67 heading Eastbound from Abilene, about one mile after you get into the city limits of Glen Rose, you will see a yellow Dollar General lighted sign on your right hand side. Your next right, after passing the Dollar General sign, is Live Oak Street. Once you turn right onto Live Oak Street, the first building on your immediate right is the Testing Center.
If you are coming from the South via Waco, Texas, take Highway 6 North to Meridian, Texas and turn left onto Highway 144 North to Glen Rose, Texas. Highway 144 North will lead you right into the downtown square of Glen Rose, Texas. Continue straight through the square and make a right onto Vernon Street, directly past the courthouse. Vernon Street turns into Live Oak Street after making a left at the top of the hill. The Live Oak Place Suites will be the last building on your left, directly across from First Financial Bank, before you reach the stop sign at NE Big Bend Trail (US Highway 67).
If you are coming from the North via Granbury, Texas, take Highway 144 South to Glen Rose, Texas and turn right onto US Highway 67 West. About one mile into town, you will see the white and blue First Financial Bank lighted sign on your left hand side. Directly after that sign for the bank, you will want to turn left onto Live Oak Street. Once you turn left onto Live Oak Street, the first building on your immediate right is the Testing Center.
We are located inside the gray, bricked Live Oak Place suites with marked parking stalls along the front and north-west side of the one story building. There is also overflow parking across Live Oak Street, in the smaller bank parking lot, closest to the Testing Center entrance. Street parking is prohibited by city ordinance. Please quietly enter the Testing Center through the door on the north side of the building marked Testing Center. You do not need to knock on the door to enter; just come inside quietly as other candidates are testing.
Cell phones are PROHIBITED at this Testing Center. Please do not bring ANY cell phones, smart watches, or other electronic devices inside the Testing Center. We ask that you securely store them in your locked vehicle or leave them at home . If you are being dropped off for your exam by someone and need to call your ride, there is a phone you may use free of charge (local and long distance) at the Proctor's desk. Bringing a cell phone into the Testing Center could result in you being dismissed from testing and sent home if you are found to have any electronic device on you during your exam.
Please keep your voice low when entering the Testing Center as others are taking their exams and please remain quiet during the admissions and check-in process. Other candidates are also reminded to maintain a low, “library” level voice as to not disturb you during your exam, so we ask the same of you. Thank you for keeping your voice down.
We offer free, self-parking directly in front of our gray painted, brick building with additional parking along the side of our offices. There is plenty of free, marked parking stalls directly in front of our building, so please do NOT park along the curb of Live Oak Street or Mesquite Street. All street parking is prohibited by city ordinance, and all vehicles parked along the street will be ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense. Please do not park in the First Financial Bank or H & H Grill parking lot. We are also not responsible for anything you leave in your vehicle, which includes your cell phone or other electronic devices. We also take no liability for you locking up any belongings in the provided candidate lockers during your appointment with us.
We unlock our door 30 minutes before the first scheduled exam of the day and lock it when the last candidate is finished and has left the building. We are only open by appointment only, so you will need to schedule your exam online with your testing company before showing up to test. Please do NOT arrive any earlier than 30 minutes before your scheduled exam time as you may be asked to wait. Check-in only takes approximately 5 minutes from start to finish, and due to back-to-back scheduling, another candidate may be testing up until your appointment time. You can help prevent overcrowding by only showing up no more than 30 minutes prior to your appointment, up until your appointment time.
If you have an emergency or conflict that requires you to re-schedule an exam (even on the day of the exam) or if you are going to be late to your appointment, you will need to call your exam sponsor (or go to the website where you registered for your exam). We cannot help you to reschedule or cancel your exam. Only the toll-free Customer Service Call Center can help with that.
